Ever since entrepreneur Toniko Manning Brown decided to found the school in 2002, to meet a very serious need in her community, she has turned her Little Beautiful Minds Primary Academy into one of the finest childcare facilities in the entire New Orleans area, including her home town of Metairie, Louisiana, who lacked good quality affordable childcare. Thinking like an entrepreneur, of course, she decided she had the knowledge and the ability and to make parents’ lives better.
Through her leadership and the excellent, caring staff she has recruited into the ranks over the last 15 years, Toniko Manning Brown has guided the school into having a strong reputation for providing kids with a variety of well-rounded, appropriate and intellectually stimulating activities. The children at Little Beautiful Minds receive an exceptional education at the same time they engage in many fun activities. Best of all, families can experience this without driving parents into the poorhouse.
Toniko Manning Brown took a different approach to building her business than many other childcare facilities. Instead of the massive marketing blitzes and huge discounts many other facilities offer to get people through the door, Toniko decided that it was better to just offer the best care and to encourage parents to tell others about them. By relying on quality childcare and allowing word-of-mouth to run the day, she has built a juggernaut. It turns out most parents of young children truly appreciate great care at a good price. They have outgrown two facilities and they now occupy a large building with plenty of room for growth.
